It’s Friday, feelings are free, and we have a lot of them. Welcome back to Freelings. Three good feelings and one bad one. All for free.
this week’s freelings:
GOOD
Access to a porch, sunset and fresh air. I’ve been enjoying my hometown of Spokane, WA— visiting family and working out of my mom’s basement for the past few weeks. The city is featured in episodes six and ten of Debt Heads Season One, and if you’ve listened, you know that the wildfires in this region are persistent; but every few days, we have a beautiful evening with clear skies to enjoy outside. I try not to miss a single one. - R
Giving free gifts. I recently gave my friend Alexandra Berenbaum a hand knit tomato hat for her new baby (!) Isn’t it the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? I also baked her a corn cake (this one!) for her birthday, to continue the theme of low-cost / free gifting. It was delicious and we had a great time celebrating the births of both Alex and the new baby. - J

a growing tomato 🍅😭 Going to bed before midnight multiple days in a row and waking up with so much energy that we are now considering becoming morning news
anchorspodcasters. Who knew that life could be transformed with SLEEP? - J&R
BAD
Realizing that the reason getting to bed before midnight makes such a marked difference in energy is because we are no longer in our 20s when we could function (well!) on essentially no sleep. Tragic. - J&R
ONE MORE GOOD
A bonus? In this economy? Well, yes! Because as mentioned, feelings are free, and this one is A REALLY GOOD ONE! Debt Heads is featured on the front page of Apple Podcasts!!!!!!!!!!! BEST DAY EVER!!!!
what are your freelings?
let us know in the comments below :)
And while you’re at it, listen to Debt Heads & if you dig it, share it with your friends!

Congratulations on getting featured so prominently on Apple Podcasts! Also, Rachel, so cool that you're back in Spokane for a bit. I miss it sometimes but not during fire season. Please say hi to your mom and dad from me.
