Sitting in traffic? Need something fun to listen to? Well, ICYMI (last acronym 🤓): Debt Heads just got a major shoutout on one of our favorite shows, All of It with Alison Stewart, on one of our favorite radio stations, WNYC.

It’s not like we’ve been shamelessly emailing the All of It team for months trying to get their attention … actually, that’s exactly what it’s like.

But while they appear too busy to pick up the phone from us Debt Heads, they are NOT too busy to chat with podcast expert

We met Lauren last week at a podcasting event with tons of brilliant radio people … which happened to coincide with a watch party for Zohran Mamdani. It was hard to distinguish between the radio folks and the democratic socialists - because both of them are OUR PEOPLE.

Among the gaggle of celebrants, we were able to finally meet Tinkerbell herself (Lauren named her company after her favorite fairy) who has been the greatest champion and friend to our little operation here at Debt Heads. Not only did Lauren introduce us to everyone who matters in radio, she also gave us THESE SICK PENS.

Thank you Lauren! And thanks to Alison Stewart for being a new listener. Rachel never imagined that the coolest MTV News Correspondent from her childhood would someday be chatting about how she couldn’t stop listening to Debt Heads.

And of course thank you to WNYC and all public radio stations everywhere in the whole world forever. You are the very very very best in broadcast media.
