I was around a lot with your dad. He loved you so much. I firmly believe that quote was very true. He had his demons, but you were his light. Great read.

Daaaaamn, you are such a great writer. Amazing piece, Jamie. I lost my dad a few years back - suicide due to years of severe depression. I often think about how we weren't enough for him to hang in there... but we were and are. As are you. Always and truly.

In my date book yesterday it says Robert Feldman passed 2000. Every year Bob Finkle and I talk about him and honor his memory.
